Sunday in the Country

Gorgeous rolled condition British quad film poster from 1984 picturing Sabine Azéma enjoying a "Sunday in the Country" set in the late summer of 1912. Pictured also is the aging painter Louis Ducreux. Gorgeous photography from Bruno de Keyzer as the subject of Impressionism and the purpose of life are discussed. The film director Bertrand Tavernier rightly won the Best Director award at the Cannes film festival in 1984 and the logo is included on this specially produced Artificial Eye film poster for the Chelsea cinema on the Kings Road in London. This is the first release poster from 1984 with artwork by Paul Derrick. Enlarged pinhole in each corner.
