British quad film poster from 1984 picturing Sabine Azéma enjoying a "Sunday in the Country" set in the late summer of 1912. Pictured also is the aging painter Louis Ducreux. Gorgeous photography from Bruno de Keyzer as the subject of Impressionism and the purpose of life are discussed. The film director Bertrand Tavernier rightly won the Best Director award at the Cannes film festival in 1984. This is the first release poster from 1984 with artwork by Paul Derrick.
