Straw Dogs

The first release British quad film poster from the Sam Peckinpah's "X" certificate film "Straw Dogs" from 1971. Printed in England by Lonsdale and Bartholomew with fine images of Dustin Hoffman, his wife Susan George and the attackers. The cinema poster from 1971 is in folded condition as supplied to the cinema, there are some pinholes in the corners which we have used white acid free restoration tape to cover on the reverse, excellent colours and printing by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham. Director Sam Peckinpah uses screen violence to show the reality of the crime of rape and went on to become one of the best directors of the decade.
