Stormy Monday

This is a specially printed poster for the presentation at the Cannon cinema on Shaftesbury, London. Stormy and moody artwork depicting the bridge over the river Tyne in Newcastle. The Key club is featured as is the young, innocent Sean Bean who falls for the visiting American Melanie Griffith. Sting plays the local jazz club owner and Tommy Lee Jones plays the sinister American developer. Palace pictures have cleverly included a quote from the New York Times at the head of the film poster which reinforces the sultry style of the piece.
