This 1972 film poster features the printed signature of the artist Arnaldo Putzu whose superb artwork pictures Wilfrid Brambell as Albert Steptoe and Harry H. Corbett as his Son Harold Steptoe. The artwork captures the pair completely and even includes the horse Delilah as the pair travel on the cart through the streets of London with Big Ben in the background. Carolyn Seymour is painted in the role of Zeta the Bride and there is a charming censor notification by the winking baby. Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew this film poster is in folded condition as supplied to the cinema and represents one of the best comedy sitcoms with writing by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson. Please note this film poster has a tiny nick out of the top border which would easily frame out with pinholes in the corners.
