Starman

Folded condition British Quad film poster from 1984 for John Carpenter's "Starman". Earth is visited by a curious alien in response to the launch of the Voyager II space craft launched in 1977 to invite any forms of life to visit the planet Earth. In this John Carpenter directed film "Starman" is in the shape of Jeff Bridges who takes up the invitation to become Karen Allen's late husband in this romantic sci-fi road movie. The film has great special effects and is an interesting moving film. The film poster was printed in England by W. E. Berry of Bradford and dates from 1984 the first release in UK cinemas. This lightly folded film poster will best sent rolled in a sturdy tube. 1 inch closed tear at the top border which we have repaired to the reverse with archival restoration tape.
