Sid and Nancy

1986 first release rolled condition British quad film poster for the punk film telling the story of Sid Vicious bass guitarist for the Sex Pistols, and the love affair with drug addict groupie Nancy Spungen, that sadly was doomed leading to death. The 1970's punk scene is captured here complete with self destructiveness, anger and cynicism. Director Alex Cox combines romance, black comedy and realism in a heady mix as the pictures of the stars here Gary Oldman and Chloe Webb play the parts with distinction.
