Ryan's Daughter

This first release stone litho printed film poster from 1970 for "Ryan's Daughter" pictures the wonderful Irish scenery of the Dingle peninsular. This romantic epic was a year in the making and pictures Sarah Miles as Rosie who marries a village teacher and then has an affair with a shell shocked British officer. Misunderstood at the time but now considered a masterpiece this wonderful film poster has a moody cinematic image that does credit to this love story from director David Lean. This was released five years after "Doctor Zhivago". The film poster has no pinholes in excellent folded condition.
