Rooster Cogburn

First release British Quad film poster from 1975. One eyed John Wayne sports an eye patch but is pictured still managing to find his bottle of whiskey and his trusty sharp shooter although he is lying on his back. Katherine Hepburn is pictured pointing the finger at him in the same kind of spinster role she played in "The African Queen". The film comments make reference to her "taming" and also to "True Grit". Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham. On the top and left border there is an even area which is more yellow due to the poster having been framed and the price reflects this.
