Romeo and Juliet

Painted by the Great British artist Eric Pulford, featuring his printed signature on the film poster and directed by Renato Castellani this film was shot on location in Italy with design inspired by Renaissance paintings. Pulford has achieved a dream like quality with his artwork and the use of colour is sensational. Printed by Charles & Read Ltd London & Harlow. This classy film had rave reviews from the critics and is well respected today. There is small historic water damage in areas of the top border on the reverse but these do not show through to the front. We have applied two small areas of archival restoration tape to the reverse of the middle cross fold and the left cross fold.
