Rise and Fall of Idi Amin

British artist Tom Chantrell painted this film poster in 1981 and the poster features his printed signature. Idi Amin is painted as the large central figure being the dictator who ruled the African country of Uganda from 1971 to 1979 with a regime of cruelty. Chantrell has painted scenes from this X certificate film in the poster printed by Broomhead litho in England. This folded film poster has four small areas of white paper lift at the centre right where a showtimes snipe had been attached by the cinema manager.
