Raising the Wind

Original "Raising the Wind" British Quad film poster from 1961 from Display Productions with full colour comical artwork by Payne (printed signature appears on the car tyre). James Robertson Justice is painted as a music teacher standing outside the London Academy of Music & Arts as he watches one of his pupils (Liz Fraser) complete with harp crash into an unsuspecting motorist. Great cast featuring the stars from the 'Carry On' and 'Doctor' movies. This folded film poster has the Maltese censor stamp at the top right, a small felt bleed from reverse at centre on Liz Fraser. Four repaired border tears of one inch along the folds at the bottom (3) and left.
