Pinocchio

Full set of eight cinema front of house lobby cards from the foyer of a British cinema first displayed in 1940. Glorious full colour cards with no fading and capturing magical scenes from "Pinocchio". Jiminy Cricket, Figaro, Gepetto, the Blue Fairy, Cleo, Foulfellow and Gideon are all pictured in this magical early feature length cartoon from the maestro Walt Disney. Words fail to do justice to these rare historical items from a film which even included the Disney anthem "When you wish upon a star". The two cards at the top and the undersea card with Gepetto plus the lady marionette cards all have roughly 3 inch closed border tears which we have repaired to the reverse with archival conservation tape. Please note all these cards are very old and very rare and do have pinholes, small areas of paper lift or small paper loss as seen. The photos are of the actual cards for sale.
