Downton Advertising agency were responsible for this Rank artwork. Eric Pulford was the main man for layouts whilst other artists either chipped in or produced full artwork as did Pulford himself. Pulford has painted Bill Travers' portrait whilst Renato Fratini has painted Virginia McKenna and Yvonne Mitchell. Printed in Great Britain by W. E. Berry of Bradford. The film was made in black and white. The director was Rudolph Cartier and he was best known for the Quatermass tv series , this film is set in Jamaica. This British one-sheet film poster is a great survivor with wonderful colours and dating from 1958. The poster has no pinholes with great colours and just a matchstick head size hole at the centre fold line and a larger one at the top centre fold line. The poster displays really well.
