Super painted artwork on this first release film poster with the printed signature of artist Tom Jungby the profile of Steve McQueen. Great litho printing and even featuring the full colour front page of the best selling book with the butterfly in chains. This film poster came directly from a cinema in New Zealand and there is a felted 'A' over the certificate. The reverse of the film poster features 4 franked New Zealand christmas 1976 stamps together with an Auckland address. As was often common at the time a folded film poster served as its own envelope. The address although large does not show through to the front of the poster and this is a very interesting piece of cinema history.
