When an intelligent mammal sees his mate slaughtered then you cannot help but feel sad. This is a powerful poster that typifies the cruelty of what is supposed to be a superior species of mammal that continues to slaughter the whale in Japan despite International Law and our clear knowledge of these sensitive creatures. This film poster features the printed signature of artist John Berkey. This was chosen as the last film to be shown at the closure of the Sheldon Cinema on the Coventry Road, Birmingham on the 26th November 1977. The support was "Holiday on the Buses".
