Murphy's War

Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew this is the first release British quad for the film from "Bullitt" director Peter Yates . The film has themes of "The African Queen" while the Peter O'Toole artwork is a prime example of preliminary artwork going on to be used as a part of the final quad. Peter O'Toole plays the part of Muphy - a mad Irish sea man looking to repair an old plane and use it to sink the German U-boat pictured in the poster. Brown staining in areas along the left border and bottom right.
