Monterey Pop

Rolled condition "Monterey Pop" UK quad film poster for the classic pre-Woodstock 1967 concert famous for Hendrix setting fire to his guitar during "Wild Thing". Note the vinyl LP cover album art featured on this rolled 1978 re-release cinema poster. The Who are pictured on this film poster for a concert where they famously smashed up their equipment to "My Generation" - this was to become a costly problem for the groups finances but a great source of revenue for their suppliers (who sometimes had to wait for payment!). The list of bands and artists on the poster is incredible - The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Mamas and Papas, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix and many more! Rolled condition with an edge crease at the top left and bottom left corners plus some minor crease marks to the right.
