Metro Goldwyn Mayer was founded in 1924 by Marcus Loew, Samuel Goldwyn and Louis B. Mayer and this year actually marks the 100th Anniversary of MGM although this wonderful rolled cinema poster dates from the 1980's. MGM proclaimed in its foundation "more stars than there are in heaven". This is a rare poster produced in limited quantities to advertise the MGM branded cinemas.
