Director Billy Wilder famous for directing Jack Lemmon in "The Apartment" in 1960 here 7 years later partners Walter Matthau for the first time with Jack Lemmon. Matthau is the lawyer "Whiplash Willie" of dubious morals in this comedy winning an Oscar for 'Best supporting Actor'. The artwork on the film poster portrays the stars in full colour with the film poster dating from 1967 for a film actually made in black and white. This is the first release British quad film poster printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham. The film poster is in folded condition with no pinholes and very bright colours.
