This poignant film poster has survived from 1936 in remarkably good condition to tell the story of a true historical love story. Charles Boyer is pictured as Crown Prince Rudolf heir to the Austro-Hungarian thrown together with the youthful Marie Vetsera a well born commoner. This 1936 film made Boyer an International heart throb. The film poster has just two small enlarged holes at the top in the "C" and just after the "R" of the name "Charles Boyer". There is a small area of pink paper residue from where a snipe must have been removed at the very top border. Smashing old printers details at the foot. A real gem.
