Massacre in Rome

This 1973 British Quad film poster pictures Richard Burton as the German commandant in Rome Col. Cappler and Marcello Mastroianni as the Priest attempting to prevent mass executions. Printed in England by D. & A. Broomhead litho of London this film was especially popular in Italy and was a true story the film being based on the book 'Death in Rome'. The title features the SS logo. This litho printed folded film poster has excellent colours and displays well there are many historic tape marks as seen but these are all off the artwork. There is a matchstick head size hole at the left centre fold and a small bit of historic water damage at the bottom left border with corner tips missing.
