This 1973 British Quad film poster pictures Richard Burton as the German commandant in Rome Col. Cappler and Marcello Mastroianni as the Priest attempting to prevent mass executions. Printed in England by D. & A. Broomhead litho of London this film was especially popular in Italy and was a true story the film being based on the book 'Death in Rome'. The title features the SS logo.
