Man in the Moon

Superb full colour space artwork by Carlantonio Longi with the added benefit of this one having been beautifully printed in Milan in Italy in 1960 (N Moneta Milano - Roma 1960). Directed by Basil Dearden this one has a screenplay by Michael Ralph and Bryan Forbes. Rank were very good at harnessing International cooperation and employed very fine Italian artists often utilising the best printing presses and this particular film poster came from the Odeon cinema in Guernsey. It has two very light horizontal folds and will be sent rolled. Artists printed signature on the poster. Kenneth More is painted as the first British astronaut test pilot with Shirley Anne Field as the delightful Polly in this wonderful Italian film poster with very bright colours.
