Love Me Tender

Great 1956 cinema lobby cards for Elvis Presley's first film. Elvis is pictured in these full colour cards whose casting was a real coup for 20th Century Fox whose low budget black and white western called "The Reno Brothers" was transformed by the Elvis single success "Love Me Tender" which was the new name for the film recovering their costs after three days! Here we have cards 2, 4 & 7 with Elvis being introduced as third in the star rating but going on to steal the show.
