Lili

Gorgeous 1953 first release film poster for the romantic musical drama "Lili". The artist has painted a marvellous facial portrait in beautiful simplistic style for the lovely Leslie Caron who stars as a waif joining the carnival. The score for the film won an Oscar and has a fantastic fantasy ballet sequence together with beautiful Technicolor photography and some lovely magic tricks performed by Jean Pierre Aumont and Zsa Zsa Gabor. With the lovely blue title font, the lovely MGM logo and the MGM pink ribbon at the foot, this is one gorgeous film poster. There's a lovely creamy look to this one with small neat pinholes in the side border edges and small matchstick head size hole in the two bottom cross folds.
