Libel

This is the 1959 film poster for "Libel". Dirk Bogarde is pictured here in a fine film in which he plays different roles as he brings a libel action to clear his name against the man who doubts if he really was the prisoner of war he claims to have been. The action is painted by Wik, the artists whose printed signature appears on the film poster and details include the courtroom scene, together with a fine portrait of Dirk Bogarde in the role of Sir Mark Loddon embracing Olivia de Havilland as Lady Maggie Loddon. The film poster is printed by Spri avenue Brugman Bruxelles 6. The poster has a small closed tear at the top left border together with pinholes in the borders, a central vertical fold and very bright colours.
