Leningrad Cowboys Go America

This is the 1989 British quad film poster for the celebrated film "Leningrad Cowboys Go America" from the Finnish director Aki Kaurismaki. This is very much an arthouse film poster and with fantastic colours paying tribute to rock bands and having been purchased by us directly from an arthouse cinema in Birmingham. The tory of the film is a road movie portraying the antics of the cowboy rock band doing their best to withhold their reputation as the World's Worst Rock band. They travel with their dead bassist complete with coffin in a Cadillac full of empty beer cans as they perform dreadful gigs in many States of America before finally lurching into Mexico. This Pop Art style artwork on this Artificial Eye film poster cleverly resembles a $1 bill and is in folded condition with just a pinholes in each corner and the title written on the reverse which doesn't not show through to the front.
