La Sorciere / The Sorceress / The Blonde Witch

Full set of English cinema front of house lobby cards from 1956 for the French film "La Sorciere". These are rare cards from the film made in French with English subtitles having a very limited release in England in art house cinemas. The story revolves around a French engineer who falls for a blonde girl living close to nature in the forest. The local villagers believe her to be a blonde witch and this results in the villagers killing her. The stills are cinema used and have letters A to H stuck at the bottom centre of each card. The cards are in good condition with no pinholes with just a brown paint mark in the top left border of card 'E' as seen.
