This is an important British quad first release for the showing of the TOHO Japanese King Kong monster film where the foe is futuristic in the shape of the King Kong robot. Director Ishirô Honda has the giant ape taking on Mechani-Kong a robot version of himself and the invention of mad scientist Eisei Anamoto. The battle scenes at the foot picture the destruction of Tokyo. This TOHO picture was released by Universal Pictures in England. This 1968 TOHO company folded film poster has really bright colours with edge wear as seen and a few nicks in small areas where we have applied small pieces of restoration tape to the reverse. Great piece of cinema history. The poster has some writing on the verse which does not show through with a corner missing at the bottom left and pinholes at the top left corner.
