David Bradley, Colin Welland, DIR: Ken Loach

The film "Kes" is possibly the best film ever made to deal with the issues of freedom and friendship. Pictured is David Bradley the star of the film who gives a brilliant and honest portrayal of a Northern lad struggling with life in the deprived region of Barnsley. The film poster also paints our young hero in the field with his only friend the kestrel who he names "Kes". In the distance is the colliery but this wonderful poster concentrates on escape and the great things on the mind of the young hero. This British Quad film poster was printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham in 1969 and has been backed onto linen by Studio C of California and is now ready for framing.
