Kaleidoscope

Bob Peak was a remarkably talented artist who flourished in the Sixties designing many great film posters and this one from 1966 is no exception bearing his printed signature underneath the flower powered leg at the lower left. The artwork features multi coloured 1960's jewellery and fashion with a strong flower power theme and a strap line declaring it "A Groovie Movie!". Very Sixties! The interesting artwork includes portraits of Warren Beatty the card sharp and his 60's chick Susannah York complete with Cupid, alsatians, and a Rolls Royce motor car. "Kaleidoscope" is a real swinging sixties movie with this British quad printed in England by Stafford & Co. of Nottingham and London, folded as issued to the cinema with no pinholes, just a small biro title to the reverse which shows very faintly through just above the Warner Bros. credit.
