David Bowie is pictured centre stage as the Prussian war veteran becoming a gigolo in Berlin just before World War 1. Also pictured in this expensive production cast is Kim Novak as Helga, David Hemmings, Curt Jurgens and Marlene Dietrich in her last screen role in which she sings the title song to David Bowie in the Hotel Eden.
