Island in the Sun

The wonderful island of Barbados is the setting for Chantrell's exotic protrayal of Dorothy Dandridge together with Joan Fontaine, James Mason, Diana Wynyard and Joan Collins. This is the film that inspired Island Records to come up with the name of their record label. The printed signature of Chantrell appears in this Caribbean artwork with a bright yellow sunny background together with palm trees, beach scene and exotic dancing.
