Original Belgian CinemaScope detailed watercolour film poster for "Island in the Sun" from the year 1957 depicting the ideal lifestyle on a Caribbean island starring Joan Collins. Darryl f. Zanuck as the former head of 20th Century Fox makes his first film here as an independent producer using fabulous locations and a cast including James Mason, Joan Fontaine, Joan Collins, Michael Rennie and Harry Belafonte. Printed by L & H. Verstegen, Bruxelles. The reverse of the film poster has a charming address together with a post marked Belgian stamp where the film poster had been folded and posted to a friend. A few closed tears in the borders as seen and a cinema heading at the top which had been removed historically.
