Pictured in action is Rock Hudson as Commander James Ferraday with Ernest Borgnine in the foreground as Boris Vaslov next to Jim Brown as Captain Leslie Anders. The US nuclear submarine USS Tigerfish is sent to the North pole to rescue the staff of a British weather station "Ice Station Zebra" with a secret mission to recover a downed Soviet satellite in this Cold War thriller from the pen of Alistair McLean.
