Hell Below Zero / Cockleshell Heroes

This 1965 double-bill film poster is for the 1954 film "Hell Below Zero" and the 1955 film "Cockleshell Heroes" both made in colour. "Cockleshell Heroes" tells the story of Royal Marines pictured here on a secret mission to destroy enemy shipping in a night time raid on the Bordeaux docks. The Super Family Feature was a real treat and the film poster also pictures the whaling action in the Antarctic. Printed in England by Stafford & Co. of Nottingham & London the film poster is in folded condition with neat pinholes at the border edges and some writing on the reverse of show times which do not show through to the front.
