Heaven Can Wait

This is a lesson in when and how to update and remake a particular movie - in this case the 1941 "Here Comes Mr. Jordan". Warren Beatty co-directs and stars as the football player illustrated here with stopwatch in hand realizing he has been called before his time - hence the brilliant title change. Beatty barters with the celestial James Mason to earn the opportunity to live again but in someone elses body. The composition of the film poster shows Beatty still in earthly football mode yet cungering with another beings celestial vision too early to die after a car accident.
