Grand Prix

First release 1967 American half sheet film poster for the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer spectacular film "Grand Prix". Superb artwork by Howard Terpning featuring the racing cars, a montage of the chequered flag and the cast with James Garner in the central role. This film poster also has the benefit of colour portraits of eight of the stars together with their names and this includes the beautiful Francoise Hardy who makes her film debut. This film poster came directly from a cinema in New Zealand and bears the certification mark at the lower right. Folded condition and litho printed. Arguably the best motor racing film ever made and filmed in Super Panavision and Metrocolor. Slight discolouration at the right hand border which would easily frame out.
