No expense was spared with the promotional material for "Gone with the Wind" and this very large full colour glossy printed front of house cinema lobby promotional card is a rare survivor. We are not sure of the exact date of this card but it looks to us to be either 1950s. This magnificent full colour large cinema lobby card pictures the famous Atlanta bazaar charity ball sequence, Scarlett O'Hara played by Vivien Leigh is legally required to wear heavy black mourning attire including a full black silk gown, matching gloves and a long black crepe veil as her first husband Charles Hamilton has recently died. She is dancing with Rhett Butler played by Clark Gable. We have not seen this card before and they were purchased from us direct from the cinema owner. The film remains for all time one of the greatest love stories. The card has no pinholes with a slight crease mark at the bottom right border.
