Incredible supersize full length James Dean artwork by the great French artist Jean Mascii whose printed signature appears at the lower left of the film poster. Terrific portraits too of Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor. This is the French re-release cinema poster from 1964 and proof that James Dean although only third on the cast list enjoyed massive popularity as a cult figure following his untimely early death in 1955 in a car crash. This large film poster features a magnificent Warner Bros logo and was printed by Its. Saint. Martin Imp. Paris. The film poster has had a little paper infill in three of the corners with a 1/4 inch closed tear at the right centre edge which we have repaired with conservation tape to the reverse. A few little historic marks as seen on Elizabeth Taylor's blouse.
