The Getaway

Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw were to fall in love and marry following this successful Peckinpah movie in which they play husband and wife in the movie. The two stars were billed as "The Big Two" on this film poster and are pictured in full flow making their getaway. Steve McQueen carries the gun in one hand and the bag  with the proceeds of the bank robbery in another as they make their getaway. The film is directed by Sam Peckinpah. This X certificate film poster is printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew and has an orange colour for the large stars names together with a red colour for the title.
