Gallant Bess

This lovely old film poster "Gallant Bess" comes from the year 1946 the year after the Second World War ended. Bess looks magnificent as she is pictured here three times in action and billed on the film poster as 'the horse with the human mind.' Bess is pictured at the bottom making an extraordinary leap in escaping to join her departing master! The film poster has been in the wars and has a very large tear at the top right together with fold wear as seen. Tape has been applied to the reverse to repair the tears and the poster has blue stamps to the reverse.
