Freedom Road

This is the British quad film poster from 1979 featuring great artwork of Muhammad Ali and Kris Kristofferson. The artwork is interesting as Muhammad Ali rejected his original name of Cassius Clay mainly as it was a slave name and here he plays an ex-slave who rises to become a delegate helping to rewrite the constitution of South Carolina. The slave chains are incorporated in the typography and the Klu Klux Klan can be seen enmasse on horseback. This film poster has only three vertical fold lines and was printed in England by W. E. Berry Ltd. of Bradford.
