Flash Gordon

Fantastic Italian first release 1980 2-Foglio film poster for "Flash Gordon" featuring wonderful fantasy artwork from the great Italian artist Renato Casaro with the artists printed signature. The detailed artwork can be fully appreciated on this large film poster picturing Sam Jones as the hero Flash Gordon in the centre of the film poster painted in a futuristic landscape of planet Mongo complete with the Sky City and its resident Hawk men flying from it. Folded condition film poster with fold separations on the crossfolds that have been repaired to the reverse with archival tape. A few blu tac residue marks on the reverse that can be seen to the left of Flash Gordon. The poster has been trimmed around the edges but the artwork remains, only the white border is missing. A truly spectacular poster that would look very impressive displayed.
