Fame Is the Spur

This Boulting Brothers British quad film poster dates from 1947 for the black and white film "Fame is the Spur". The source material for Director Roy Boulting came from the Howard Spring best selling novel about the first Prime minister for the Labour party Ramsay MacDonald. This film poster is in glorious full colour and the painting of Michael Redgrave is of exceptional quality together with a further painting at the bottom left of Hamer and Ann played by Rosamund John. Folded condition as issued to the cinema with two small areas of acid free restoration tape that we have applied on the centre cross folds.
