Escape From Alcatraz

The printed signature of the artist Birney Lettick appears at the bottom left and his attention to detail includes a haunting image of the prison at Alcatraz together with a determined look on the face of Clint Eastwood who plays the part of Frank Morris in this true story. The statement at the top "No one has ever escape from Alcatraz...and no one ever will." Is of course proved not entirely correct and director Don Siegel draws superb performances from Patrick McGoohan the warden and Clint Eastwood the prisoner. First release 1979 litho printed film poster in very good folded condition with no pinholes but minor fold wear and a few marks at the bottom of the poster as seen.
