"The Elusive Pimpernel" 1950 original Belgian film poster. David Niven is painted magnificently as the suave Englishman who dedicates his life to saving French aristocrats from the guillotine. There is an impressive London Films Big Ben logo at the bottom right of this film poster. From the novel "The Scarlet Pimpernel" comes this Powell & Pressburger film. Printing by L. & H. Verstegen. Bruxelles. Gorgeous watercolour artwork with derring-do French flavour. Slightly trimmed at the top border as seen.
