Duel

This is the film that launched the career of director Steve Spielberg made in his 20's. The poster tells the story of the anonymously driven truck on the Californian desert highway that terrorises the businessman in his red Plymouth Valiant car. This early film featuring the truck as a marauding screen monster gives a hint that follows with Spielberg  Shark in "Jaws". A difficult poster to find. This 1971 Australian day-bill film poster was printed by Robert Burton Printers of Sydney. The film poster has historic tape marks in the corners.
