Dracula Prince of Darkness

Terrific first release 1965 Hammer films British quad film poster for "Dracula Prince of Darkness" . The composition by famous British artist Tom Chantrell places Christopher Lee in the role of Count Dracula. Veteran horror Director Terence Fisher balances religious ritual with innate sexuality with Barbara Shelley in excellent form as the main Hammer horror star of the period. The film poster has excellent colours with no fading. There are three small historic sellotape marks at the lower left border with enlarged pinholes at the top and bottom corners as seen. The poster has a small hole at the centre mid fold line and a smaller one at the right mid. The largest of the pinholes is at the bottom right. Title written in blue biro at the bottom right on reverse which does not show through to the front. Good thick paper quality on this Associated British Pathe Hammer Horror film poster. A difficult one to find. The poster has had 1/2 inch neatly trimmed from the top border.
